Today’s Google Doodle marks the 131st anniversary of the invention of the hole punch.
Who knew that the hole punch was 131 years old? Who knew that the hole punch had an anniversary? Well, Google did and today they are marking the occasion with a quirky animated logo on their homepage. This artefact of German engineering can be found (sometimes) in offices and homes, usually follow the paper confetti to lead you to the device.
